Grupo Sociedad Azucarera Larios, a business conglomerate with deep ties to urban development in the Málaga province since the 19th century, was honored at the latest edition of the 2024 ‘Hacemos Málaga’ Business Awards, that were held last week.
These awards, organized by the Confederation of Málaga Business Owners (CEM) and the Provincial Council of Málaga, recognize local companies for their social commitment, focus on the future, the significance of their activities, and their long-standing trajectory.
The accolades also aim to highlight the vital role of businesses as economic and social drivers of Málaga’s development, particularly in areas such as innovation, employment, and sustainability.
Grupo Sociedad Azucarera Larios was recognized for its more than 130 years of service to Málaga’s urban development, especially in the Axarquía region, where Salsa Inmobiliaria stands as a prominent reference.
The company excels in the entire real estate process, from land development and urban planning to the promotion of residential properties, apartments, offices, and shopping centers.
During the award ceremony held at the Edgar Neville Auditorium, the group’s CEO, Carlos Gutiérrez-Maturana-Larios, stated, “This recognition honors all the generations who have been part of Sociedad Azucarera Larios, making it possible for us to be here today. For us, receiving this award is a source of pride and, at the same time, a responsibility to continue building a legacy for future generations.”
Grupo Salsa is dedicated to real estate promotion, land management in urban planning, asset management, as well as the leasing of rural estates and agricultural production through its companies Salsa Inmobiliaria, Salsa Patrimonio, and Salsa Agrícola.
